Our own energy issues
Vantaa Energy is committed to the national energy efficiency agreements, and it has signed up to three agreements: production, network company, and the joint agreement for sales and district heating networks.
We will improve the efficiency of our own energy use by 5% and undertake to support our customers' energy efficiency measures to achieve a 9% energy saving compared with development without the saving measures. We report on the achievement of energy efficiency targets every year.
We encourage our customers to save energy by offering advice, distributing information and improving the monitoring of real-time electricity consumption. We are reducing our own energy consumption by implementing the energy efficiency programmes drawn up for our operations.
